Garage 66 (formerly known as MBM Motorsports) will be competing in the upcoming NASCAR Cup Series event at EchoPark Speedway, the organization announced on Thursday.

David Starr, a veteran of more than 600 starts across NASCAR’s top-three divisions, will be piloting the No. 66 Ford Mustang Dark Horse in the Quaker State 400 Available at Walmart.

“EchoPark Speedway is one of the most exciting tracks on the schedule, and I’m thrilled to compete here with such an incredible group of partners,” said David Starr. “The No. 66 looks amazing, and we’re ready to go full throttle on race day.”

WNB Factory Wings N Burgers will serve as the primary marketing partner for the Houston, Texas-native in the event on Saturday, June 28. Roofing Georgia, NGE Decks, Coble Enterprises, and Carter’s Royal Dispos-all will ride along as associate partners.

John Carter, owner of Carter’s Royal Dispos-all and a former owner in the NASCAR Cup Series, will be returning to the racetrack this weekend as part of the Garage 66 team.

“We’re proud to join forces with Garage 66 to showcase our brand on one of racing’s biggest stages,” said Robert Bales, President and COO at WNB Factory. “This is a great opportunity to connect with race fans and represent Georgia with pride.”

The Saturday, June 28 event at EchoPark Speedway will serve as the sixth start of the year for Garage 66 in the NASCAR Cup Series, a team that has fielded its No. 66 Ford Mustang Dark Horse part-time at NASCAR’s top level this season.

Casey Mears, Josh Bilicki, and Chad Finchum have all taken turns behind the wheel of the Garage 66 entry this season, with Bilicki collecting the organization’s best finish of the season, 33rd, in the Coca-Cola 600.

Despite illustrious tenures in both the NASCAR Xfinity Series and NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, Starr, 57, will be making just his 19th start in the NASCAR Cup Series at EchoPark Speedway.

The Quaker State 400 will take place on Saturday, June 28 at 7:00 PM ET on TNT Sports, PRN, and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio Channel 90. The event will also be available on HBO Max.
