Kyle Petty Charity Ride Raises $1.7-Million in Milestone 25th Year

Kyle Petty has been doing his annual charity motorcycle ride across America for a staggering 25 years. It’s impressive, but what is also impressive is the amount of money that the event raised for the Victory Junction Camp in this year’s ride.

According to the Kyle Petty Charity Ride organization, the ride raised $1.7-million during its 2019 edition. This year’s ride, which began on May 3rd stretched a record 3,700 miles from Washington to Florida.

“This year’s Ride was amazing! We had beautiful views, crowds at every stop, police escorts the entire trip, a little rain, fun visits with Victory Junction campers, great food and lots of laughs with friends for nine straight days,” Petty said in a press release. “When you get 250 people together that care about kids, want to help others and love to ride motorcycles, it’s going to be fun! Riding corner to corner across America just made it more special.”

In addition to the $1.7-million that was raised during the ride another $2-million was donated by the Andreas family in honor of David Andreas, who was a long-time rider in the Kyle Petty Charity Ride.
