On Friday, JTG Daugherty Racing announced that they would be expanding their partnership with Bimbo Bakeries USA, with multiple of the company’s brands set to serve as premier sponsors throughout the course of the 2022 NASCAR Cup Series season.

“Bimbo Bakeries USA is a leader in the baking industry, and we’re proud to grow our relationship after working with their Entenmann’s Donuts and Thomas’ English Muffins and Bagels brands this season,” said JTG Daugherty Racing co-owner Tad Geschickter. “We will continue to focus on the things that are most important to their brands in 2022 – building brand affinity, delivering real shopper engagement, and growing sustainable sales.”

The organization currently fields a pair of entries in the NASCAR Cup Series – one chartered entry and one open entry — with drivers Ryan Preece and Ricky Stenhouse Jr piloting the No. 37 and No. 47 Chevrolet Camaros, respectively. However, the team has yet to announce their plans for next season, including driver lineup and number of full-time entries.

“We are excited to expand our sponsorship with JTG Daugherty Racing in 2022,” said John Lee, Breakfast Vice President and General Manager at Bimbo Bakeries USA. “Based on the results from Entenmann’s Donuts, we quickly added Thomas’ to the 2021 program. Their unique approach to sponsorship has connected our brands with retailers and consumers to deliver both short-term sales results and longer-term brand building.”

Both Thomas’ English Muffins and Entenmann’s Donuts have served as primary partners of Ryan Preece’s No. 37 Chevrolet Camaro in the NASCAR Cup Series, most recently at Nashville Superspeedway.

“Entenmann’s Donuts entered this year looking for a more effective and efficient way to reach our target audience,” said Jason Amar, Marketing Director, Bimbo Bakeries USA. “JTG leveraged our racing assets to amplify awareness for Entenmann’s Donuts and our EntenMAN of the Year contest, resulting in more consumer and retailer engagement with our brand around our key drive period. I look forward to building on our positive momentum in 2022!”

Additional details regarding the agreement will be released in the coming months.
