Post-race technical inspection following Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series Cook Out Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway has been completed.

Denny Hamlin’s race-winning No. 11 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota Camry has passed. As a result, NASCAR has declared Hamlin and his team the official winners of the race. This is Hamlin’s first win of the 2021 NASCAR Cup Series season and it’s the 45th NCS victory of Hamlin’s career.

No issues were discovered in post-race inspection, which means all results and standings following Sunday’s race are now considered official.

NASCAR will take Austin Dillon’s No. 3 car, Kevin Harvick’s No. 4 car, Martin Truex Jr.’s No. 19 car and Ross Chastain’s No. 42 car to the R&D center. No penalties will stem from those checks.
