FORT WORTH, Texas — Many contenders fell by the wayside Saturday night in the NASCAR Xfinity Series O’Reilly Auto Parts 300 at Texas Motor Speedway. But there was one constant all night, Christopher Bell was at the front.

Bell won Stage 1 and Stage 2 and ultimately, he won the race as well.

This marks Bell’s eighth win of 2019 and it is his 16th-career NASCAR Xfinity Series win. Pending post-race inspection, Bell will now be one of the four drivers battling for a championship at Homestead in a couple of weeks.

Ross Chastain finished second, while Austin Cindric, Brandon Jones and John Hunter Nemechek rounded out the top-five finishers.

Justin Allgaier went from the rear of the field after an engine change to finish sixth.

Harrison Burton, Cole Custer, Jeb Burton finished seventh through ninth.

Ryan Sieg, who crashed his primary car earlier in the weekend, and had to use his Phoenix car for the weekend, somehow managed a top-10 finish in 10th.

Chase Briscoe, Tyler Reddick and Noah Gragson had awful nights.

All three Playoff contenders were top-five to top-10 cars, but Briscoe suffered tire issues late after getting into the wall. Briscoe would finish 22nd.

Reddick, was potentially the only car capable of beating Bell, but with 40 laps to go he spun and crashed hard into the inside wall.

And Gragson’s car was destroyed after sliding into the grass with 50 laps left in the race.
