Brett Moffitt started from the pole at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park on Sunday in the Chevrolet Silverado 250, and despite constant pressure from Todd Gilliland Moffitt hit his marks the entire Stage and led all 20 laps to take the Stage win.

Gilliland spun while running in second and heavily damaged his truck. However, after going to pit road for repairs, and serving an uncontrolled tire penalty, Gilliland was able to stay on the lead lap.

Ross Chastain ended the stage in second, Austin Hill was third, Tyler Ankrum finished fourth, and Matt Crafton ended in fifth.

Johnny Sauter spun his teammate Grant Enfinger, and Sauter went on to end the Stage in sixth. Stewart Friesen rebounded from a practice crash to finish the stage in seventh. Enfinger came home eighth, Austin Wayne Self was ninth and DJ Kennington, who is replacing the suspended Tyler Dippel ended the Stage in 10th.

Moffitt won the playoff-opening event last weekend at Bristol. Can he keep the streak going as he looks to defend his 2018 series championship?
