Alex Bowman was looking to be a strong challenger for Kevin Harvick in tonight’s Alsco Uniforms 500(k), until slapping the wall early in stage 3 at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Bowman lead a large portion of stages 1 and 2 before losing the lead to Kevin Harvick just laps before Bowman’s 88 Chevrolet found the outside wall in Turn No. 4.

Alex Bowman re-entered the race after fixing damage one lap down in 34th position, with about 55 laps to go in the Alsco Uniforms 500(k)
