NASCAR Cup Series Rookie of the Year contender Anthony Alfredo has made a name for himself in the online racing world with the iRacing service, as he streams his simulator action on Twitch, participates in the highly successful Monday Night Racing League, and he even owns his own iRacing league eSports Racing League (ERL). Now, the 22-year old will sport the iRacing colors in a real-life NASCAR Cup Series race this weekend at Martinsville Speedway.

Alfredo’s No. 38 Front Row Motorsports Ford Mustang will transform into a red, white and blue scheme for the Blue-Emu Maximum Pain Relief 500 night race.

Alfredo, who opened eyes last season scoring two top-five finishes and nine top-10s in nine NASCAR Xfinity Series starts for Richard Childress Racing, has had a bit of rough luck to start his NASCAR Cup Series career.

The Connecticut-native has three DNFs (did not finish) by way of crashes in three of the opening seven races, but those accidents were all not of his doing. When he doesn’t find bad luck, Alfredo has been a consistent top-20 to top-25 contender.

Alfredo’s best finish of the 2021 season so far is a 22nd-place showing at the Daytona Road Course, he’ll look to that and snag his career-best NCS finish in Saturday’s race at Martinsville, which can be viewed on FS1 at 7:30 PM ET.
