There was one constant throughout Friday at Auto Club Speedway. The No. 88 Hendrick Motorsports Camaro was atop the scoring pylon. Alex Bowman, who paced opening practice, was fastest in the final practice session as well.

Bowman’s fastest lap of final practice was 176.626 mph or 40.764 sec.
Ryan Blaney, the NASCAR Cup Series point leader heading into the weekend, was second-fastest.
Bubba Wallace, who had a surprise sixth-place finish last weekend in Vegas, was third.
Kurt Busch and rookie Christopher Bell rounded out the top-five in final NASCAR Cup Series practice.
2019 NASCAR Cup Series champion Kyle Busch, who sits a disappointing 27th in the championship standings after two races, slapped the wall around the mid-way point of the session.
Fortunately, for Busch the damage to his car was cosmetic. Busch returned to the track 20-minutes after the incident. Busch was 10th-fastest in the session.
