It’s not rare at all to see disagreements in racing, but it is a little rare when someone goes after the wrong guy. That seems to be what happened in Sonoma on Saturday, as Rodd Kneeland went over to show his frustration at Sebastian Arias.

Arias – who had already had an eventful day – was simply an innocent bystander in the crash that was sparked by a heated battle between Kneeland and Bridget Burgess.

Here is video of the incident, which led to the end of the day for Kneeland and Arias:

As shown via replay, Burgess was not happy with how she was raced in a battle that appeared to have been going on for a good while at the 1.99-mile road course. Seemingly out of frustration, Burgess turned Kneeland sideways, which ultimately collected Arias into the mess.

Frustration then boiled over into what seemed like confusion. It will be interesting to see why the driver of the No. 68 was upset with Arias, or if it was just a mistake.
