There were a lot of tricks and trials for an early race start for the ARCA Menards Series at Pocono Raceway, but it was once again Jesse Love who was able to avoid the issues, leading 40 laps en route to the victory early Saturday morning.

Connor Mosack , who will also compete in this afternoon’s NASCAR Xfinity Series event for Joe Gibbs Racing, came up just short of the victory in the second spot.

ARCA Menards Series rookie Andres Perez de Lara was able to make an incredible comeback after contact and damage on a restart. He and the No. 2 Rev Racing team came home third on the day after leading 16 laps. The Mexico City native now finds himself second in the points standings. 69 markers behind leader Jesse Love.

Dean Thompson finished in fourth-place after starting from the pole position, while his Venturini Motorsports teammate Conner Jones came home in fifth. Toni Breidinger trailed them both in sixth.

Several other drivers had good runs in the Pocono mountains, with fan favorite Andy Jankowiak running as high as fourth in the late stages of the race, but faded in the closing laps, bringing his No. 73 Toyota home in seventh.

Cody Coughlin returned to the ARCA Menards Series with his family-owned team, collecting an eighth-place result at the 2.5-mile facility.

Christian Rose and the AM Racing team had to start in the back, 25th, after not making a lap in qualifying on Saturday. The Martinsburg, West Virginia native fought all race to finished ninth on the day.

After slapping the wall early in the race Jake Finch, making his first ARCA Menards Series start of the 2023 season, was able to drive his damaged car – a fifth entry for Venturini Motorsports – to a tenth-place finish.

While it was a strong day for some, it meant that others had to suffer.

The biggest disappointment of the day was for Frankie Muniz and the No. 30 for Rette Jones Racing. The team was hit with electrical gremlins just after the initial start. While they were able to get back on track, the Scottsdale native would end up finishing 21st on the day and fall to third in points.

It was also a tough day for Logan Misuraca. Making just her third start of the year, the 24-year-old cut a tire into turn one on lap eight and was out of the race. She finished 25th.
