As the ARCA Menards Series West heads to Irwindale Speedway for its second event of the 2023 season, one native of California will be making his series debut.

Jake Bollman, the 2022 winner of the All-American 100 has inked a multi-race agreement with High Point Racing, which will see him pilot the No. 55 Ford Fusion in several ARCA Menards Series West events, starting with Saturday’s  West Coast Stock Car Motorsports Hall of Fame 150 this weekend.

Bollman, a Huntington Beach, California native, began his racing career in the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series in 2016, but has since transitioned to asphalt racing.

“From his first INEX Legend win at Irwindale Speedway, to his performances in the SRL Series, we have had our eye on Jake for years now,” said HPR president Tim Huddleston. “The opportunity to compete at the national level with a driver like Jake Bollman is something that I, along with the entire High Point Racing team, could not be more excited about.”

High Point Racing has a long history of developing drivers at the local and regional level, including Cup Series winner Cole Custer and last year’s ARCA West Champion Jake Drew. Bollman’s team will include Travis Thirkettle and Ryan Partridge.

Bollman’s full ARCA Menards Series West schedule will be announced at a later date.

The West Coast Stock Car Hall of Fame 150 will take place this Saturday, April 1st at Irwindale Speedway. You can watch the race live on FloRacing at 10 P.M. ET.
