Doubling Down At Irwindale: Previewing The ARCA Menards Series West Double Header

It’s twice the fun this Fourth of July Weekend in Irwindale Speedway, as the ARCA Menards Series heads their for back to back races on July 4th and July 6th.

The Series was set to run one of their two races at the circuit earlier in the season, but weather postponed the event to July 6th, making it a double race weekend.

As the ARCA Menards Series West heads into their 35th event in series history at the speedway, several drivers are looking to take home the win with some fireworks to celebrate.

Several drivers are pulling double duty for both the NAPA Auto Parts 150 Presented by West Coast Stock Car Motorsports Hall of Fame and the West Coast Stock Car Hall of Fame 150 presented by NAPA Auto Parts.

One of the bigger name, and former winner here is Sean Hingorani. After a hiatus, he has once again teamed back up with Venturini Motorsports to pilot the No. 15 machine for both races at the Irwindale, CA race track.

Joining him from the VMS stables is Talladega winner Jake Finch and rookie Isabella Robusto making her fourth start in the west.

Newport Beach native Hingorani is 11 points back in the driver’s championship of Tyler Reif, whose looking to pick up his first win of the season. The Henderson, NV driver is coming off a second place at Sonoma.

Kern Raceway winner Kole Raz returns to pilot the Jerry Pitts Racing No. 5 machine. He’ll look to go back to back wins in back to back starts this Thursday. He’s also set to run the Saturday race.

Another former winner at Irwindale looking to get his bearings back and take home a trophy is Trevor Huddleston. The Agoura Hills, CA driver picked up his third career West win here at Irwindale last season.

Other notables between both races include the McAnally Racing machine of Jack Wood and Eric Johnson Jr, Jaron Giannini in Joe Farre’s No. 23 machine that won Sonoma, Rick Goodale and Tim Goulet splitting the Rise Motorsports No. 31, The KKM machines of Kyle Keller, and Robbie Kennealy, as well as Danica Dart joining the stable for the Saturday event, among others.
