Video: Sawalich Wins in WILD Three-Wide Sideways Finish with Scott and Wright

William Sawalich scored the win in Saturday night’s ARCA Menards Series The Shore Lunch at Elko Speedway. But coming off of the final turn, it was nowhere near a foregone conclusion that the driver of the No. 18 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota would win.

Sawalich was locked into an intense battle with Rev Racing’s Lavar Scott for the race win, and after the two exchanged blows a few times, they made contact one last time coming to the finish line, which sent them sideways, and the collected Kris Wright, who had snuck into the picture.

The three drivers skidded sideways toward the finish line, where Sawalich was able to barely edge out Scott and Wright for the win. Wow. What a finish.
