Racing for the 2024 ARCA Menards Series season is just around the corner, as the ARCA Menards Series West kicks off at Phoenix Raceway on March 8th. Bill McAnally Racing (BMR) has officially signed Eric Johnson Jr. to drive for the team full-time in the 2024 West Series season.

Johnson Jr. will drive the No. 19 Key Property Services and Pacific Automation Chevy SS. He will be joining fellow BMR teammate Jack Wood, who joins the team full-time in 2024.

“To be part of such a prestigious team is truly a dream come true for me,” Johnson Jr. said.

The 20-year-old made four starts for the No. 19 team last year and showed good promise with two top 10s, with his best performance coming at All-American Speedway (Roseville) with a ninth-place finish.

“Last year was an unforgettable experience filled with new challenges, and now I have a team I feel confident in. I still have so much to learn, but getting my feet wet in the series in 2023 was a great step in the right direction. I’m excited to work alongside Jack (Wood) and learn as much as I can from him and the BMR team,” the LaCenter, WA native added.

Johnson Jr. will also be competing for the Rookie of the Year honors in the ARCA Menards Series West.

“We’re very excited to bring Eric (Johnson Jr.) back for a second season in the AMSW,” team owner and former driver in the ARCA Menards Series West Bill McAnally said.

“In his four races, Eric (Johnson Jr.) showed us a lot of potential and how quickly he can adjust to the car. Having Jack (Wood) and Eric (Johnson Jr.) next season will give us a great chance for another championship.”

You can catch both of the BMR cars kick off the 2024 ARCA Menards Series West season at Phoenix Raceway live on Fox Sports 1 on Friday, March 8 at 8 P.M. ET.
