Alexander Rossi was fastest in a straightforward final practice for Sunday’s Grand Prix of Portland.

Piloting the No. 27 Andretti Autosport Honda, the 30-year-old California native dropped a quick lap of 59.0532s (119.729 mph) to lead the session at the 12-turn, 1.964-mile road course.

Rookie Christian Lundgaard ended up second, with his No. 30 Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing Honda off the top mark by just 0.1274s.

Reigning NTT IndyCar Series champion and defending race winner Alex Palou was third, followed by Team Penske’s Josef Newgarden in fourth.

Six-time IndyCar champion Scott Dixon put his No. 9 Chip Ganassi Racing Honda in fifth.

Will Power, Pato O’Ward, rookie Callum Ilott, Graham Rahal and Felix Rosenqvist rounded out the rest of the top 10.
