It’s only been a month since the end of the 2023 ARCA Menards Series season, but plans have been rolling, and we officially know where the series is heading in 2024.
The 2024 schedule next year features a few shakes up compared to years past. One of the biggest changes includes Dover Motor Speedway moving to the ARCA Menards Series main schedule on April 26, 2024. The track has been a staple on the ARCA Menards Series East schedule since 2020.
Dover looks to have replaced the series race at Pocono Raceway.
The summer months also feature a shuffle, with a few races moving dates. The series returns to Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course on June 21st. Questions were up in the air if they would return after the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series announced they wouldn’t be back to the track.
Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park moves up in the running order to July 19th, set to be part of the NASCAR Series weekend in Indianapolis. The race will be part of a double-header with the Truck Series, with a second double-header at the Milwaukee Mile.
One of the biggest changes is to Salem Speedway. After having hosted the penultimate race for the series, now will be the 11th race of the season on July 27th. The race at Elko Speedway also now moves to later in the year on August 3rd.
Other notable changes are dates being pushed back for the fall races of Watkins Glen, Bristol Motor Speedway, and the second date at Kansas Speedway.
Some things have stayed the same heading into the 2024 season though. The year kicks off once again at Daytona International Speedway with Speedweeks, then to Phoenix and Talladega for the first few weeks.
Other returning tracks include Charlotte Motor Speedway, Iowa Speedway, and the triple-header weekend with the NASCAR Xfinity and NASCAR Cup Series. The two dirt races at Springfield and DuQuoin are returning to the schedule, and Toledo Speedway once again will be the finale for the season.
