Xfinity Series Crash Pocono
Joey Gase and Justin Allgaier made contact late in the race at Pocono Raceway, when Allgaier closed on Gase late in the race and smacked the rear-end of the Emerling-Gase Motorsports machine.

A late-race caution at Pocono Raceway has thrown a wrench into what was already destined to be a strategy-filled finish, with cars attempting to stretch the fuel and cars behind attempting to close on the leaders with fresh tires.

However, a spin by Joey Gase at the exit of the second corner has completely erased the intrigue from that portion of the event and created the possibility of some late-race chaos, thanks to a caution inside the race’s final laps.

The accident happened when Justin Allgaier, who at the time was the second-highest driver on brand-new tires, got directly into the back of the Emerling-Gase Motorsports entry at the exit of the tunnel turn, spinning the No. 35 off of turn two.

Joey Gase was able to continue, as there was minimum damage to his Adkins Automotive entry, while Justin Allgaier seemed to sustain the most damage from the incident, and was forced to come back down pit road to make repairs.
