John Hunter Nemechek and Cole Custer suffered major damage on a crash during a restart at Lap 46 at Pocono.

There will not be a third-consecutive win for John Hunter Nemechek in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. On a restart at Lap 46, Nemechek was getting some aggressive shoves from behind from his teammate Sammy Smith, which caused Nemechek’s No. 20 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota Supra to turn.

As Nemechek began to lose control, he collided with Cole Custer’s No. 00 Stewart-Haas Racing Ford Mustang, and the two drivers went into the outside wall.

Here is a video of the crash that ruined the day for Nemechek and Custer:

In addition to Nemechek and Custer, who suffered the most damage in the incident, Sammy Smith, Chandler Smith, Chase Elliott, Austin Hill and Sam Mayer all received damage in the restart stack up.
