Video: Rajah Caruth Out After Tangling with Ty Majeski Late at Kansas

Rajah Caruth is out of Saturday’s NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series event, after getting turned around by Ty Majeski on the frontstretch at Kansas.

What was looking like a potential career evening for Rajah Caruth, is going to end in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series garage, after a crash between him and Ty Majeski on the frontstretch at Kansas Speedway.

Caruth, driving the No. 24 Chevrolet Silverado for GMS Racing, was running inside the top five at the time of the accident, when he and the series points leader made contact, sending the Wendell Scott Foundation entry into the outside wall.

The Washington, DC native was forced to retire from the event, due to extensive damage to his Chevrolet Silverado, which will result in a 34th-place finish for the first-season driver.

Meanwhile, Ty Majeski, who took damage in the incident, had to pit to make repairs but returned to the track and maintained a position on the lead lap. The series points leader has yet to finish worse than 11th in 2023.

The accident happened in the final stage of the race, which triggered another restart inside the final 60 laps of the Heart of America 200 at Kansas Speedway.
