Marco Andretti will attempt to qualify for his 18th Indianapolis 500 in 2023 with Andretti Autosport.

The No. 98 Honda will return with KULR Technology Group as the primary sponsor of the entry. KULR was also Andretti’s primary sponsor in 2022 for the Pennsylvania native’s 250th IndyCar start.

“It’s great to see a sponsor like KULR continue as a primary sponsor with our INDYCAR program for the second year,” said Andretti Autosport Chairman and CEO Michael Andretti in a team release.. “The development potential of KULR’s technology is exciting and we’re proud of their commitment to improving performance. We look forward to this special event in May and are happy to have them back with Marco.”

In the 2022 Indianapolis 500, Andretti started 23rd and finished 22nd. The 2006 Indianapolis 500 runner-up will participate in the Indianapolis Motor Speedway open test on April 20th-21st before practice begins for the 107th Indianapolis 500 in May.
