Petty GMS has had an incredible first season in the NASCAR Cup Series, and the driver of their No. 42 car, Ty Dillon will look to close out his stint with the team with a victory.

This weekend in the NASCAR Cup Series Bank of America Roval 400 at the Charlotte Motor Speedway Roval, Dillon will have a fresh look on his Chevrolet Camaro as QuickCheck will come on board as a primary sponsor.

For the brand that has been named the National Convenience Store Chain of the Year and one that has become a local favorite in the New York and New Jersey areas, Sunday represents a unique opportunity.

“This is an exciting new way for us to enhance our customer experience and connections with thousands of NASCAR fans,” said QuickChek Divisional Vice President Don Leech. “Our partnership with Petty GMS enables us to really drive home we have the best damn sandwich in town with the best damn racing team.”

On the sides of the No. 42 car will be the words, “Best Damn Sandwich in Town.” In addition to being a premium convenience store, QuickCheck has also earned the best in America rankings in numerous national consumer surveys for their food quality.

Dillon will be wearing the pride of carrying a brand new sponsor that is making its first foray into the world of NASCAR, and he’s excited to give QuickCheck a good first outing.

“Bringing new partners into our industry is always exciting, but when we have the chance to do so in our backyard, it’s even cooler,” Dillon explained. “I’m proud to represent all of the employees, customers, and partners of QuickChek as we race on the ‘ROVAL’ this weekend. NASCAR fans have proven to be some of the most brand-loyal fans in all of sports, so hopefully they will see this partnership as a reason to stop in a QuickChek store next time they head north. I can’t wait to meet some of their team members and show them what our sport is all about in Charlotte!”

Dillon, who will depart the No. 42 car at season’s end as Noah Gragson moves to the team for 2023, has had some solid efforts this season. While he has one top-10 finish, a 10th-place effort on the dirt at Bristol Motor Speedway, Dillon has racked up six top-15 finishes this season.

The 30-year-old driver could have had even more than that had it not been for bad luck, which has led to a total of seven DNFs this season. Four of the seven DNFs were crashes at Superspeedway events, and an additional DNF came when Kyle Larson plowed through him at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Road Course on lap 60 of the 86-lap event.

Catch Dillon and the No. 42 Petty GMS team and their white and green QuickCheck machine in this weekend’s NASCAR Cup Series Bank of America Roval 400 at the Charlotte Motor Speedway on Sunday, October 9th at 2:00 PM ET. The race will be televised on NBC.
