Hailie Deegan, a full-time competitor in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, will make her NASCAR Xfinity Series debut in the Alsco Uniforms 302 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on October 15.

The Temecula, California-native will partner with SS Green Light Racing for the NASCAR Playoff event at the 1.5-mile facility, where she’ll get behind the wheel of the No. 07 Pristine Auctions Ford Mustang.

“I really just wanted to make my debut, for sure on a mile-and-a-half because that’s where I feel most comfortable, but I wanted to get my feet wet in the Xfinity Series,” Deegan said. “I don’t know yet what I’m going to be doing next year, I wish I knew and had it figured out already, but we’re still working through a few things, so no news on that yet.”

Deegan, currently in her second full season of NASCAR Truck Series competition with David Gilliland Racing, comes off of a career-high sixth-place finish at Talladega Superspeedway, her second top-10 result of the year.

In June, Deegan reiterated her earlier sentiment that she was looking to compete in the NASCAR Xfinity Series on a part-time basis this season, but further stated that sponsorship would be the largest obstacle in making that happen.

The 21-year-old has recorded three top-10 results in 44 starts in the NASCAR Truck Series with David Gilliland Racing and currently sits 21st in series standings with two races remaining on the schedule.

However, Deegan has shown some signs of year-over-year improvement in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, picking up six top-15 finishes over the course of the year, versus her season-long total of four in 2021.
