Erik Jones and the No. 43 Petty GMS Motorsports team will have a brand new look when the NASCAR Cup Series heads to World Wide Technology Raceway in Gateway next weekend as Bommarito Automotive Group will adorn their car.

John Bommarito is excited to sponsor the iconic No. 43 car in the NASCAR Cup Series.

“We are honored to be a part of bringing NASCAR to the St. Louis region and thanks to the support of race fans across the country, we’ve demonstrated that when you win on Sunday it generates sales on Monday”, said Bommarito, President of the Bommarito Automotive Group. “As an iconic brand here in the St. Louis and Midwest marketplace, the Bommarito Automotive Group could not be prouder to adorn the legendary Petty GMS No. 43 Chevy for the inaugural NASCAR Cup Race right here in St. Louis. Bommarito and The King, together making history.”

The paint scheme will feature a black base with Petty blue and Bommarito red accents.

Fans who get an oil change or service at Bommarito Service Centers during the month of May will receive two free tickets to attend to a special Richard Petty Day, which will be proclaimed on June 3rd by the Governors of Illinois and Missouri.

After 13 races in the 2022 NASCAR Cup Series season, Jones sits 17th in the championship standings. The 25-year old has one top-five finish, a third-place finish at Auto Club Speedway, and four top-10 finishes this season.

He’ll look to take another step towards a Playoff berth in Gateway.
