Chase Elliott drove through and spun Cody Ware out on lap 163 of the Bristol Dirt Race.

Chase Elliott may be the sport’s most popular driver, but I doubt he’s not very popular on the No. 51 Rick Ware Racing team radio right now.

On lap 163 of Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series Food City Dirt Race at Bristol Motor Speedway, Elliott absolutely drove through Cody Ware, and in doing so triggered a five-car incident which brought the caution out.

Following the incident, Ware found Chase Elliott under caution and showcased his anger with the driver of the No. 9 car:

  1. Some very nice “selective” video presentation. I notice that non posted show HOW or WHY Elliot is pushing the front of Ware’s car. Did ware come across Elliot leaving him know where to go??

    This article is another GREAT example of “journalism” being used to show the story the journalist want shown and that may not be the truth.
