Video: Contact Between ThorSport Teammates Eckes and Rhodes Causes Friesen to Spin

Stewart Friesen went for a spin after contact from Christian Eckes, who was nudged by his teammate Ben Rhodes.

There was a battle over a piece of real estate between two ThorSport teammates — Ben Rhodes and Christian Eckes — on lap 134 of Thursday’s NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Martinsville.

After contact between Rhodes and Eckes sent Eckes up the track, it was Stewart Friesen who took the brunt of the incident and went for a spin.

Following the incident, Eckes was very displeased with Rhodes on the team’s radio. Eckes’ team told him to remember that for later in the race and that Eckes, “Had their permission,” I would assume to retaliate.
