Video: Ryan Blaney Spins in NASCAR Cup Series Practice at COTA, Suffers Minimal Damage

Ryan Blaney went for a spin in Cup series practice. Screengrab from FS1 Broadcast.

NASCAR Cup Series practice was a little less than ideal for Team Penske’s Ryan Blaney, who went for a spin into the barrier at Circuit of the Americas with less than 12 minutes left in Saturday’s session.

Blaney’s car suffered minimal body and spoiler damage in the incident.

Here is video of the spin:

Fortunately for Blaney, the Next Gen car is a little tougher in slight crashes like the one he took on Saturday than the Gen6 car was.
