Video: Ricky Stenhouse Jr. Spins in Wednesday Next Gen Test at Charlotte

Ricky Stenhouse Jr. Spin Next Gen
Ricky Stenhouse Jr. spun the No. 47 JTG Daugherty Racing Next Gen early in Wednesday’s Next Gen test at Charlotte. Screengrab from NASCAR video.

Ricky Stenhouse Jr. went around for a spin off of turn 4 in the early portions of Wednesday’s NASCAR Cup Series Next Gen car test at the Charlotte Motor Speedway oval. Stenhouse was running next to Aric Almirola in a pack at the time.

Here is video from NASCAR of the spin:

TobyChristie.com captured video of the scene following the spin. Here, you’ll see that the team changed a flat tire on the car on the track. When the team brought the tires back over the pit wall, you can see how badly the tire was flat-spotted.

Luckily, Stenhouse was able to get the No. 47 JTG Daugherty car back to the garage undamaged. Following the spin, Stenhouse explained the situation on Twitter.
