David Schildhouse Becomes Latest Member of Storied iRacing Family


David Schildhouse will pilot this No. 20 Chevrolet Silverado in the Monday Night Racing Rowdy Energy Pro Series event at Knoxville on Monday, November 29.

On Monday, announced 12-year iRacing veteran David Schildhouse as the latest driver to pilot the ever-growing NASCAR news website’s colors as Schildhouse will drive the No. 20 machine in four races during Season 4 of the Monday Night Racing Rowdy Energy Pro Series.

Schildhouse, 38, will see his first race with the iconic black and green colors beginning with Monday Night’s (November 29) race at Knoxville. The Chevrolet Silverado that Schildhouse will pilot was designed by Cosmin Ioaneșiu of SplashNGo Graphics.

The partnership is all about passion for racing, which is a common bond between Schildhouse and the team.

“I always enjoy sharing a passion and that’s why I’m so excited to partner with – they share my passion about racing and deliver it through top-notch reporting without any nonsense,” Schildhouse said. “I’m very happy to have them on board the No. 20 for four races this season and look forward to a lot of success together.”

In addition to Monday’s race at Knoxville, Schildhouse will have as the primary sponsor of his Next Gen car at Phoenix on Monday, December 6th, on his Xfinity Series car at Chicagoland on Monday, December 20th and the website will be featured on his truck at Iowa in the Playoffs Round of 7 race on Monday, January 24th.

Through four races in the Monday Night Racing Season 4 schedule, Schildhouse has one win, which came in the season-opening event at Daytona International Speedway. Schildhouse also finished fifth at Michigan, and sixth at the Daytona Road Course last week, after choosing to start in the rear for an added challenge.

An Arizona-native, Schildhouse has been sim racing since the mid 1990s on PC. The driver is part of the Kligerman eSports team, which was founded by NASCAR driver Parker Kligerman.

The Monday Night Racing Rowdy Energy Pro Series is a unique virtual racing competition as it pits some of the greatest eRacers against some of the best drivers that the real-world race track has to offer.

Among the field in the race on Monday along with Schildhouse will be two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Kyle Busch, 26-time NASCAR Cup Series winner Dale Earnhardt Jr. and a plethora of other real-world drivers and Motorsports industry members.

In addition to Schildhouse, drivers who have flown the colors in the past also include current NASCAR racers Anthony Alfredo and Rajah Caruth, ARCA racer Brad Perez as well as established veterans in the virtual racing world such as Blake McCandless, Cayden Rush, Benjamin Fanning, Colin Hudson, Robert Dorman, Zachary York and Ben Branscum.
