Post-race technical inspection following Saturday night’s NASCAR Cup Series Federated Auto Parts 400 at Richmond Raceway has been completed.

Martin Truex Jr.’s race-winning No. 19 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota Camry has passed. As a result, NASCAR has declared Truex and his team the official winners of the race.

This is officially Truex’s fourth win of the 2021 NASCAR Cup Series season, and it’s his 31st-career NCS win. This win automatically advances Truex into the Round of 12 in the 2021 NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs.

Truex’s car did have one unsecured lug nut, which will result in a monetary fine for his crew chief.

Justin Haley’s No. 77 car had two unsecured lug nuts, which will result in a fine and suspension for his crew chief Kevin Bellicourt.

No other issues were discovered in post-race inspection. As such, all results and standings from Saturday’s race are now considered official.
