Video: Denny Hamlin Slams Into David Starr On Pit Road During Stage Break Caution

Well, what looked like an easy race winning type day for Denny Hamlin in Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series Sport Clips 200 at Darlington, has started to unravel, rather quickly.

The latest issue Hamlin has endured is a pit road collision with David Starr during the stage break caution after Stage 1.

This incident caused damage to the right front of Hamlin’s No. 54 machine and it came right after a heart-breaking end to Stage 1, where Hamlin spun from the lead while battling the lapped car of Carson Ware.

Here is the previous Hamlin incident:

  1. Denny Hamlin should not have used the “flying circle emblem on a Toyota as that emblem belongs to RAY HENDRICH’s 1937 CHEVROLET COUPE numbered FLYING ELEVEN that won over 700 NASCAR Modified Division races in the 60’s and 70’s Toyota was cursed. Rick Hendrich, cousin of Ray Hendrich has an exact copy of the 37 Chevy Coupe Modified “Flying 11” Race Car on display with his Corvette Car collection. I actually was able to enjoy watching the “FLYING11” win many races at Martinsville, Richmond, and South Boston, Virginia race tracks.
