Ryan Newman was having a quiet, yet decent day in Saturday’s NASCAR Cup Series Pocono Organics CBD 325, until he got loose on lap 52.
While running all by himself, the No. 6 car stepped out sideways, Newman attempted to gas the car up hard in an effort to keep the car off the wall. It may have helped, but the car still sustained severe rear damage.
Trouble for the @RoushFenway No. 6 car of Ryan Newman.
