Video: Bristol Motor Speedway Dirt Transformation Underway For Spring NASCAR Races

When NASCAR returns to Bristol Motor Speedway for their race weekend at the end of March, the half-mile speedway will look quite a bit different. The track will be converted into a dirt track. The event on March 28th will mark the first NASCAR Cup Series dirt race since the 1970 season.

On Thursday, the speedway shared video of a truck dumping dirt inside the facility as the iconic short track undergoes its transformation.

The NASCAR Cup Series Food City Dirt Race at Bristol will take place on Sunday, March 28th at 3:30 PM ET and television coverage will be provided by FOX. The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series will also be in action at the Bristol Motor Speedway dirt track Saturday, March 27th at 8:00 PM ET and that race will be televised on FS1.
