Keith McGee Joins Reaume Brothers Racing’s Driver Lineup; Planned NASCAR Truck Series Debut Moved to 2021

Josh Reaume’s No. 33 “The Mullet That Changed My Life” Toyota Camry that Josh Reaume will run at Talladega

Reaume Brothers Racing – who fields the No. 00 and No. 33 in the NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series — announced on Saturday Night that Alaskan-driver Keith McGee would be joining the organization’s driver roster.

McGee was scheduled to make his series debut at Talladega Superspeedway, but due to COVID-19 restrictions will not be able to make his debut until 2021. Instead, Josh Reaume will pilot the No. 33 Toyota Tundra at the 2.66-mile track.

When McGee takes to the track next season, he will become the first driver from Alaska and the first disabled veteran to ever make a race in a NASCAR National Series.

“I am really looking forward to making my NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series debut in 2021 with Reaume Brothers Racing, as I continue to inspire fellow disabled veterans to achieve their dreams and aspirations.” said McGee.

“I am beyond excited and profoundly grateful for all the support from the Facebook group “The Mullet that Changed my Life” and Thigh Huggers, during these unprecedented times. I am blessed by the amount of support shown by all the small businesses and individuals over the years to get me to this point in my career, you have all helped take my childhood dream to the next level.”

Reaume Brothers Racing – who made their venture into the NASCAR Truck Series beginning in 2018 — has been able to score one top-five and three top-tens in the team’s 105 starts.

“I’m thankful to be working with Keith McGee and with his partners, and I’m excited to have him racing in our truck come 2021” said team owner Josh Reaume.
