Video: Playoff Contender Ben Rhodes Goes For a Ride in Final Stage at Las Vegas

Ben Rhodes, one of the 10 NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series Playoff contenders, was looking for 10th spot while battling three-wide with Todd Gilliland and Stewart Friesen on lap 83 of Friday’s World of Westgate 200 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, when his No. 99 Ford F-150 snapped sideways.

Rhodes could not keep his truck from backing into the inside wall.

As he went to pit road for new tires and repairs, a fire broke out under the truck. The team and fire fighters helped extinguish the flames and Rhodes is back on track.
