Video: Kyle Busch Very Frustrated With KBM Team in Un-Aired Truck Series Post-Race Interview

Kyle Busch came up short in winning another NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series win in Tuesday’s NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series North Carolina Education Lottery 200 at Charlotte Motor Speedway. When FS1 went off-air, it had appeared that Busch did not grant a post-race interview — in fact, FS1’s Michael Waltrip and Phil Parsons hinted that is what happened.

However, Busch did perform a post-race interview with Alan Cavana, but the interview contained a curse word, so FS1 was unable to show it before going off air.

Here is the full post-race interview, where Busch is left seething at his Kyle Busch Motorsports team for unloading a truck with, “Broken pieces, after sitting for six months. There’s going to be some fucking talking after I get home. That’s unacceptable.”

Busch started the race with a truck that was too high in the front end. He had to pit to address it. Then his truck was too low. Then the team finally got the truck right, but in the closing laps, Busch was mired back in 23rd after taking a different pit sequence than the majority of the field.

In the end, he came up just one spot short of winning the race.

After returning to his motor home for post race media availabilities, Busch was made aware that Chase Elliott performed Busch’s signature victory celebration — the bow.

Busch, shocked of the revelation, called Elliott’s move, “Cute.”
