Jeffrey Earnhardt, who is scheduled to make at least ten appearances for JD Motorsports throughout the 2020 season, will make his first NASCAR Xfinity Series start for the organization Tuesday at Darlington Raceway, driving the No. 0 Chevrolet Camaro.

Sponsoring Jeffrey Earnhardt’s No. 0 Chevrolet, will be Kids First Community, a first-time sponsor to the sport of NASCAR, which focuses on Building Stronger Kids by providing educational tools designed to inform about important safety aspects throughout the world.

Jeffrey Earnhardt has one previous Xfinity Series start at Darlington, finishing in 20th, while driving the No. 4 for JD Motorsports in 2014.

Colby Howard, who will make at least twenty starts for JD Motorsports in 2020, will return to the NASCAR Xfinity Series for the second time this season at Darlington Raceway on Tuesday, May 19th.

Howard made his first Xfinity Series start at Phoenix Raceway earlier this season, just one week before the COVID-19 pandemic caused a nine-week hiatus from NASCAR Racing.

Howard, who has never raced at Darlington Raceway, will have no practice or qualifying laps available to him for Tuesday’s race, meaning the Simpsonville, South Carolina-native will have to lean on his JD Motorsports team, and his teammates B.J. McLeod & Jeffrey Earnhardt, to learn the track quickly and minimize mistakes to optimize the weekend and earn the best finish possible.

B.J. McLeod has what could quite possibly be the biggest week of his entire NASCAR career ahead of him. On Sunday, McLeod’s race team (B.J. McLeod Motorsports) will make their maiden voyage into the NASCAR Cup Series with McLeod behind the wheel of his own No. 78. BJMM will then field three cars in Tuesday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series race for drivers Matt Mills, Vinnie Miller & Mason Massey.

Tuesday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Darlington will bring a new challenge for McLeod. McLeod, who was set to run the majority of the schedule for JD Motorsports’ No. 0 & No. 15 teams, will move over to the No. 6 (the ride usually occupied by David Starr, who according to team rosters for Tuesday’s race, will not be piloting a JD Motorsports entry). McLeod won’t be in a totally new situation for Tuesday’s race though, as JD Motorsports has elected to swap the crews of the No. 6 and No. 0 teams, leaving McLeod with some familiar faces on his team for Tuesday’s race.
