Video: Kyle Busch Becomes First NASCAR Driver to Capture a WWE Championship

It’s been a really cool year for Kyle Busch. Not only has he eclipsed Richard Petty for the most NASCAR National Series wins all-time, not only did he collect his second NASCAR Cup Series championship, but Monday night on WWE Raw Busch also became the WWE 24/7 Championship.

Busch took the win over R-Truth after he and special guest referee Michael Waltrip snookered the WWE star and made the three count.

Busch’s WWE title reign was a short one, though. Following the on-air broadcast of WWE Raw, Busch was filming an Instagram story for WWE, when R-Truth snuck up behind him.

R-truth would roll Busch up for the pin to regain his 24/7 championship.
