It has been a dominating night so far for Ross Chastain in the World of Westgate 200 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Chastain has now led 40 of the 60 laps in the first two Stages, and he has swept Stages 1 and 2. All eyes will be on truck No. 45 for the race win.

Austin Hill ended Stage 2 in second, while Brett Moffitt continued climbing from starting the race from the rear. Moffitt ended Stage 2 in third spot. If he can win, it will mark his third-consecutive race win in Truck Series competition.

Ben Rhodes and Brennan Poole were fourth and fifth.

Pole sitter Christian Eckes ended Stage 2 in sixth, while Sheldon Creed and Todd Gilliland were seventh and eighth.

Playoff contending rookie Tyler Ankrum was ninth in Stage 2, while Gus Dean ended in 10th.

It’s been a rough engine night for Playoff contenders in this elimination race. Grant Enfinger’s bid at a championship spot was crushed, when he blew an engine in Stage 1.

Since then, Stewart Friesen has dropped a cylinder. Friesen sits 26th two laps off the pace.

Also, Matt Crafton and Johnny Sauter experienced engine issues that resulted in huge fires under the hood on the same lap. Both drivers — who are currently in the Playoffs — are scored in 28th and 29th.

Crafton is done for the night, but Sauter’s team has gotten his No. 13 truck repaired and he is attempting to finish the race.
