Kyle Busch Smokes ‘Em — Literally — For Stage 2 Win at Bristol

The good news for Kyle Busch? He won Stage 2 of Friday night’s Food City 300. The bad news? His motor expired as he collected the checkered flag for the Stage in his No. 18 Toyota Supra.

This will end Busch’s night after leading 137 laps and he will join fellow Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series drivers Erik Jones and Joey Logano in the garage.

Tyler Reddick ended the Stage in second and Justin Allgaier ended third. Those two drivers got together at the end of Stage 1 while battling for the Stage win.

Austin Cindric and John Hunter Nemechek rounded out the top-five finishers.

Brandon Jones, who won Stage 1, Chase Briscoe, Michael Annett, Ryan Sieg and Jeremy Clements finished in positions six through 10.
