Matt Tifft to Promote Cross-Country Business Growth at Sonoma

MOORESVILLE, N.C. (June 18, 2019) – Matt Tifft is helping to promote cross-country collaborations between business investors and accelerators in his hometown NE Ohio area this weekend. The Front Row Motorsports (FRM) driver will sport a new paint scheme at Sonoma Raceway featuring Akron, Ohio’s Acquire Investments; Akron, Ohio’s Bounce Innovation Hub; and San Francisco, California’s Unshackled Ventures. The groups from Ohio and California are taking advantage of this opportunity to bridge the interstate gap in an effort to promote business investments and accelerate small business growth between the regions.

NE Ohio-based Acquire Investments, LLC is a private investment company focused on creating better connectivity between investors and opportunities near its hometown. “There is no question our region can benefit from the expertise, experience and capital existing in other areas of the country, specifically Silicon Valley,” said Bill Manby, CEO of Acquire Investments. “We feel we have created an opportunity to be the lightning rod and generate collaboration that creates significant opportunities for all involved. Acquire is thrilled to draw attention to the Akron-based Bounce Innovation Hub, Palo Alto-based Unshackled Ventures and Napa Valley’s Venture wines. Driving interactions like these will help to spur new relationships that can result in accelerating business growth.”

“I’m proud to be supporting small to medium businesses in my hometown”, said Tifft. “NE Ohio has so much to offer business owners and is a great place to work and live. I’m pleased to be part of an effort to bridge the gap between Ohio and California investors and businesses.”

San Francisco-based Unshackled Ventures invests in early stage startups founded by immigrant entrepreneurs throughout the U.S. Founding Partner Nitin Pachisia has taken special interest in the educational and industrial hubs in the Heartland, spending time in communities like NE Ohio. “I visited Ohio on the Comeback Cities Tours with Congressman Tim Ryan and saw the opportunity the region presents,” Pachisia said. “I am working with regional leaders like Bill Manby to lay the foundation of a promise that attracts coastal VCs and startups to the Heartland. The relationships and bridges we are building will show results in years to come. The group we have at this race is an example of investors and operators from San Francisco colliding with their counterparts from NE Ohio!”

The new paint scheme for the No. 36 Acquire Investments Ford will make its debut at Sonoma Raceway on Friday June 21 for practice. The “Toyota/Save Mart 350” Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race will air Sunday, June 23 at 3 p.m. ET on FS1 and PRN.
