Stage 1 didn’t go exactly how Alex Bowman wanted it to Saturday night in the Federated Auto Parts 400 at Richmond Raceway. After race leader Martin Truex Jr. went on a torrid pace, Bowman found himself trapped a lap down at the Stage 1 caution break.
However, Stage 2 got off to an even worse start as Austin Dillon made contact with Bowman’s N0. 88 car sending the driver spinning.
A little Intimidator in the driver of that No. 3 car!
