The NASCAR Cup Series is back this weekend after observing its first off-week of the year during Easter weekend. This week’s race, which marks the eighth of 36 points-paying Cup races this season, will be the Food City 500 at Bristol Motor Speedway.

The Cup Series will be joined in Thunder Valley by the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series and NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, which each saw action last weekend at Rockingham Speedway.

Chase Elliott, who took the most recent NASCAR Cup Series race win in the Cook Out 400 at Martinsville Speedway, will look to bag his second win of the campaign in Sunday’s race at Bristol, a track he’s never won at previously.

Kyle Larson is the defending winner of the Food City 500, having led 411 of 500 laps in this race a season ago. Larson, the defending series champion, will look to snap a 31-race winless drought in Sunday’s race.

As for the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series, it’ll be William Sawalich, who heads to the track for the first time knowing what it’s like to be a winner in the series, as he picked up his first career win last weekend at Rockingham.

The 19-year-old Joe Gibbs Racing driver will look to go back-to-back, but he’ll have to defend his win against a hungry field of talented racers, including point leader Justin Allgaier and Corey Day, who dominated last weekend before losing out late.

The NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series Suburban Propane 300 at Bristol is set for Saturday, April 11, and will be televised on The CW.

Corey Heim comes into this weekend’s NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race on a two-race winning streak, and if he can win Friday’s Truck race at Bristol, he will collect a total of $500,000 in Triple Truck Challenge bonus money for sweeping the win in all three stops for ‘The Trip’ in 2026.

The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Tennessee Army National Guard 250 will take place on Friday, April 10, and will be televised on FS1.
