For the first time in the history of the zMAX CARS Tour, Fox Sports 1 will provide live flag-to-flag coverage of the series’ Late Model Stock Car division in coordination with FloRacing.

FS1 will televise the division’s race on Friday, May 16 as part of NASCAR All-Star Race Weekend at North Wilkesboro Speedway. The broadcast is part of a co-distribution/co-production agreement between FloSports and Fox Sports during the All-Star festivities.

CARS Tour FloRacing lead announcer Eric Brennan will be in the booth for the broadcast, alongside Dale Earnhardt, Jr. and Kevin Harvick. Brennan has worked with FS1 on several ARCA Menards Series broadcasts.

Blake McCandless will be on pit road, alongside another seasoned FS1 pit reporter to be announced.

Both Earnhardt, Jr. and Harvick are co-owners of the regional short track series, alongside Justin Marks and Jeff Burton.

“This is going to be an exciting and entertaining weekend of racing at North Wilkesboro,” said Earnhardt Jr. in. a series release. “I’m very proud about how much the series has grown and this is an incredible opportunity for our drivers and teams to showcase themselves. Kevin [Harvick] and I are going to have a lot of fun calling that race from the booth on Friday.”

“Our primary mission is to look for ways to put our drivers, teams and partners in front of as many race fans as possible,” added CARS Tour executive director Kip Childress. “This announcement rewards everyone by introducing the CARS Tour to such a big television platform while also bringing the series closer to Sunday’s All-Star Race festivities.

“There’s no way to express the gratitude we have to Fox Sports, FloRacing, Speedway Motorsports and NASCAR for helping us make this possible.”

FloRacing subscribers will have access to Friday’s race on the streaming platform. FloRacing’s coverage includes practice and qualifying for both CARS Tour divisions and Thursday’s 75-lap Pro Late Model feature.

Additional details for the event, including a title sponsor, will be announced at a later date.
