Starting Lineup: 2025 NXS Wawa 250 at Daytona

Things were looking good for the NASCAR Xfinity Series to qualify at Daytona International Speedway on Friday.

After a slight hold due to lingering lightning, the field got the go-ahead to qualify their cars around the 2.5-mile superspeedway. A total of 15 cars had made laps around Daytona before the caution was displayed and the field was put back into a lightning hold, axing the remainder of time trials. Therefore, the starting lineup for Friday’s Wawa 250 will be set by the metric.

Connor Zilisch and Sam Mayer will lead the field to green with Sammy Smith, Austin Hill, and Justin Allgaier rounding out the top-five. Carson Kvapil, Brandon Jones, Harrison Burton, Christian Eckes, and Jesse Love completed the top-10.
