Practice Results: 2025 Cook Out Clash at Bowman Gray Stadium

Ty Gibbs was the quickest driver in the opening practice session of the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series campaign at Bowman Gray Stadium.

With a blazing lap time of 14.019 seconds (64.199mph), the Joe Gibbs Racing driver went to the top of the speed charts early in the session, and stayed there throughout the entire session.

The first group’s opening round provided the vast majority of the fastest lap times in this session, with Ryan Preece second, Ty Dillon third, Kyle Larson, and rookie driver Riley Herbst inside the top five.
