NCTS Black’s Tire 200 at Rockingham Practice Results

Jonathan Shafer crashes in NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series practice at Rockingham Speedway

Kaden Honeycutt topped the lone practice session for Friday afternoon’s NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Black’s Tire 200 at Rockingham Speedway, the fifth race of the 2026 season. Before the session ended 18 minutes shy of its scheduled conclusion, thanks to rain, Honeycutt turned a fast lap time of 22.775 seconds (148.584 mph) around the 0.940-mile track.

Honeycutt was able to best Corey Heim, his TRICON Garage teammate, for the top spot in the session by 0.187 seconds. Andres Perez de Lara, Chandler Smith, and Gio Ruggiero rounded out the top-five fastest drivers in the session.

Jonathan Shafer pounded the outside wall with his No. 69 MBM Motorsports Ford, and will be one of the two drivers who will not qualify for Friday afternoon’s race.

Here are the complete results from a weather-shortened NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series practice session at Rockingham Speedway.
