NASCAR Cup Series Straight Talk Wireless 500 Race Results (Phoenix)

Team Penske has completed the NASCAR-INDYCAR sweep at Phoenix Raceway this weekend, as Ryan Blaney pulled off the victory in Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series Straight Talk Wireless 400 at Phoenix Raceway.

Blaney had to recover from numerous pit road issues to get his Dent Wizard Ford Mustang Dark back to the front of the pack and contend for the victory, in part because of a two-tire strategy call from Jonathan Hassler.

Christopher Bell finished second, with Kyle Larson, Ty Gibbs, and Denny Hamlin rounding out the top-five, with Bubba Wallace, William Byron, Tyler Reddick, Michael McDowell, and Erik Jones inside the top-10.

The race featured a track-record 12 cautions and took several heavy-hitters out in major wrecks throughout the afternoon, shaking up the point standings.
