NASCAR Cup Series Pennzoil 400 Practice Results (Las Vegas)

Joe Gibbs Racing (JGR) teammates Christopher Bell and Denny Hamlin had a stranglehold on NASCAR Cup Series practice from Las Vegas Motor Speedway, posting the fastest times in Saturday’s sessions.

Bell, driving the No. 20 Interstate Batteries Toyota Camry XSE, led the session by posting a lap time of 29.338 seconds (184.062mph), holding a tenth of a second advantage over Hamlin.

Ricky Stenhouse, Jr. and HYAK Motorsports put up a bit of a shocking lap in practice, holding down the third position, while Toyota teammates Bubba Wallace (from 23XI Racing) and John Hunter Nemechek (from LEGACY MOTOR CLUB) rounded out the top-five.

Last weekend’s winner, Ryan Blaney, was a surprisingly poor 33rd in Saturday’s practice session. Qualifying, though, is another story and will follow the end of practice on Prime Video.
