In Saturday’s NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series event at EchoPark Speedway, it was a game of minutes and seconds, not laps, as inclement weather pushed back the start of the Fr8 208, forcing NASCAR to put a hard end time on the table of 4:20 PM ET.
Kyle Busch, driver of the No. 7 HendrickCars.com Chevrolet Silverado RST, ended up in Victory Lane thanks to a push from his Spire Motorsports teammate Carson Hocevar. The two recorded the second 1-2 finish in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series for Spire Motorsports.
Gio Ruggiero was third, with Ben Rhodes and Corey Heim rounding out the top five.
